British Museum Events
The British Museum is the first national public museum of the world.
It is unique in bringing together the cultures of the world under one roof, spanning continents and oceans. Its eight million objects allow us to explore the extraordinary diversity of human cultures and to realise how closely they are interconnected.
Enlightenment ideals and values – critical scrutiny of all assumptions, open debate, scientific research, progress and tolerance – have marked the Museum since its foundation.
These values apply to this channel, where live-steams and recordings of past events at the Museum can be found.
Whilst discussion is encouraged, please be aware that any offensive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory or harassing comments, images, videos or personal attacks of any kind will be removed. Spamming, repeat submissions of the same contributions or content that is off-topic may also be removed.
