The copywrite laws of the united states recognizes a "fair use" of copywrited content. section 107 of the us copywrite act states : "Not withstanding the provisions of section 106 and 106A the fair use of a copywrited work, including such use by reproduction in copies of phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholar ship, or research, is not an infringement of copywrite.
