Gen-Z-Daddy

Born in 1997 and feel called upon to guide the younger gen z's into adulthood. I grew up the middle child, sandwiched between a millennial and gen z brother. Often times I felt overlooked or a burden. I did everything I could to be the best son, brother, and friend even through family struggles. My father left at an early age and it left me grasping to find a paternal figure for support. Only later in life did I realize just how important my sensei's from karate were to me. They gave me such clarity and guidance and support when I needed it most. They gave me high expectations but also all the tools to help me reach them. I owe a lot of how I think and act to them. Because of that, I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to have a role model like that in their life. I am not a professional but I do believe I can be good role model for anyone who feels they need someone to give them a boost and help them navigate their life as a young adult
