Theyyam World

Theyyam is a ritual based performing art from Kerala. Theyyam is one of the oldest form of performing arts in Kerala, and it is believed most of the traditional performing arts including kathakali , koodiyattam , Theyyam has its origin rooted In Theyyam. Noted historians Tamil epic Silappathikaram which was written around 5th century has mentioned the earliest form of Theyyam.
