Feeling Good with Dr. David Burns
Dr. David Burns is the author of Feeling Good, Feeling Great, and other books that have sold more than 6 million copies. He was a pioneer in the development of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and has developed a new approach called TEAM, which stands for: Testing, Empathy, Agenda Setting and Methods. TEAM addresses the shortcomings in classical CBT, and is based on the notion that motivation influences our thoughts, feelings, and actions just as much as our thoughts and beliefs. Dr. Burns has developed more than 100 mood boosting techniques drawn from more than 15 schools of therapy, and believes that TEAM is as revolutionary as CBT was decades ago.
