Social Studies With Mr. Fredrick Smith
Studying the world around us helps us become better citizens and more likely to contribute to our communities, countries, and planet in a meaningful way. Understanding our history, economies, and governments allows us to better represent ourselves and make good decisions when interacting with others. As a social studies teacher, I have endeavored to help students comprehend how civilizations work, but also participate actively through community service, attending meetings of local government, registering to vote, and working at their neighborhood polling stations on Election Day. I provide sources for my videos in the descriptions, so please read more about each subject if you wish.
