My name is Katie, I started budgeting in about July/August 2024 as I want a better life especially when I get to pension age. The reason for this as I’ve known people at pension age who have to make choices between food or heating which is so sad as they should have both heating and food. To be honest I have been in that situation where I had to choose between food or heating and it’s awful so I don’t want to try and be in that position again.
I’m married to Mark who I’ve been with over 25yrs. Mark has a lot of health issues with his heart (he has had a few open heart surgeries) & other health issues so I have to be now with him 24hrs a day.
