Eddie Lewis is a professional, free-lance trumpet player who hasn't had a day job since he quit delivering pizzas in the late 80's. Eddie is a performer, a composer, a trumpet method author and a music educator (mostly private lessons). He balances each of these streams of his career by visualizing them as part of the whole. These are not four different career streams. Being a teacher is intimately connected to Mr. Lewis' experiences as a performer and as a composer. There is a balance between these different career streams that has gone a long way toward creating Eddie's unique musical style.
