KLUB RACUN
Klub Racun is a do-it-yourself venue that has been a bastion of underground music in Bandung for years. The venue provides a much-needed space for bands, big or small, young or old, to play without shady promotors, pay-to-play nonsense, or the constant threat of corrupt cops busting down the door. It is a small, out-of-the-way place, yet both local and international bands alike flock there. Klub Racun is something more than a music venue, though; it is a shining example of DIY ethics, solidarity, and uncommon humanity.
