Tibetan Nuns
The mission of the Tibetan Nuns Project is to educate and empower nuns of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition as teachers and leaders; and establish, strengthen, and support educational institutions to preserve the Tibetan religion and culture. We currently support 7 nunneries and over 700 nuns in India. You can support our work by visiting www.tnp.org. You can sponsor a nun for just $1 a day and provide her with food, shelter, education and health care. We post a list of current needs on our website. This registered 501c3 charity was founded over 30 years ago and has a small office in Seattle and its headquarters in India. www.tnp.org
