MAYAADESH
MAYAADESH is an independent creative platform led by Mayan Mhaque, an artist from Bangladesh working across theatre, film, writing, photography, and performance. The channel grows out of Mayan’s own artistic journey—archiving experiences from his theatre life while producing new independent films and documentaries.
MAYAADESH explores themes of memory, history, ecology, and human resilience, treating art as a living record of people and their stories. Alongside its own projects, the platform also aims to collaborate with artists to preserve their work, journeys, and cultural contributions, ensuring these voices find a lasting place in the archive..
The channel invites film and theatre researchers, anthropologists, cultural historians, and anyone curious about how performance shapes human life. MAYAADESH stands as a space for creation, preservation, and dialogue—where local realities connect with global academic and artistic conversations.
