Ozone is a confusing concept because there is so much mis-information. A molecular chemist said it best. Ozone will kill any odor and clean anything if given enough time and enough "volume". It is true though that ozone is dangerous for any living thing - people, pets and plants. Thankfully though it breaks down really quick. It's also true that low dose ozone over an extended period of time will break down materials. That is why I prefer high shock dose treatments - hit it hard and heavy then move on.
