The Norwegian brand Åsnes has since 1922 produced sturdy Nordic BC Skis for tours and expeditions. Today Åsnes is owned by Active Brands and is located in Voss, Norway.

Åsnes is known for high-quality skis and the skin-insert system and our short skins (X-skins) that was introduced in 2003.

Today Åsnes has a rich selection of Nordic BC skis, cross country skis and alpine touring & freeride skis. Åsnes has a wide selection of ski skins and poles for mountain and alpine use. In 2021 Åsnes launched a new line-up of Apparel.

Åsnes is the leading BC skis producer and the preferred brand for polar expeditions and harsh environments. Åsnes is also the biggest supplier of skis to NATO.
