Kenya National Bureau of Statistics
Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) is the principal agency of the Government for collecting, analyzing, packaging, publishing and disseminating official statistical data for public use. KNBS also coordinates, monitors and supervises the National Statistical System (NSS). KNBS was established by an Act of Parliament – the Statistics Act, No.4 of 2006 . KNBS is domiciled in the Ministry of Planning, National Development & Vision 2030.
The NSS comprise of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) as well as Counties.
