Be A Fixer
What "Be A Fixer" means to me...
Fixers are people who:
* develop skills of self-reliance to avoid being a burden on others
* pull more than their own weight and can be relied on by others
* strive to be useful and contribute value in the world vs just consuming
* own the problems they encounter, regardless of who caused them
* contribute practical solutions vs whining about problems or blaming others
* seek solutions that last vs simply kicking the can down the road
* seek to benefit others in addition to themselves
* strive for continuous personal improvement
When there are enough fixers around, everything gets better over time. It creates a virtuous cycle.
