Horaci Garcia
Horaci Garcia Martí | Videojournalist | Barcelona 1978
I studied Journalism in Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Looking for new horizons, I settled in West Africa in 2008 and East in 2015. I combined freelance periods for International Media such Agence France Presse, Arte.tv, Euronews, Canal+ or France24, with a 4 years position as a VJ for the BBC World Service.
Among others in Africa I covered the Malian war, the Ebola crisis, the troubled DR Congo and about 10 electoral processes.
I am nowadays back to Barcelona, Spain, where I'm happily engaged for Reuters.
I’ve been working alone or with a team combining News coverage, TV packages, Documentary or Advocacy videos. I enjoy telling stories and offering interesting angles.
