Welcome to UKGardening.
I've been a gardening enthusiast since I was a child, when I had my own little patch in my parent's garden, growing lettuce, radish and carrot. I also had a small collection of cacti, which I would add to when I visited a garden centre. I then went on to work in a plant nursery as a part-time job, whilst I was at secondary school. I started my UKGardening website in 1998 as a way of merging my enjoyment of gardening with developing techniques to further develop my web site building skills, which is what I do as a day job, as well as being a taxi service to my two lovely children and running a couple of production machines at my Dad's seed business.
I've resisted putting YouTube videos up, because I'm quite self-conscious, but again, I need to learn how it works, to help me to help my customers. So I've jumped in and hopefully I'll become a little less shy and post regular, helpful gardening related videos.
