Dreaming Spanish style / Automatic Language Growth (ALG) videos for learning German with Comprehensible Input (CI). Lots of visuals, sounds, gestures, and facial expressions; always in the context of a story or game. No grammar explanations, drills, translations, comparison between similar words, other definitions of a word irrelevant for the current context, drawing attention to how language is used, hints on what not to say, subs / CC, or any on-screen text.
Just focus on what’s happening in the story, do not use subtitles or any help like dictionaries and do not think *about* the language at all, and you’ll acquire German over time. It’ll lead to a very automatic understanding of the language and it's a really fun and sustainable way to learn!
