AX is the bird fanatic who has never stopped painting. In a world of exclusionary design, efficiency optimization and corporate storytelling, she highlights another story.

Who owns the place we all live on? Isn't it all our city? On the barricades are AX figures, the fragile survivors and motley birds that remain in the ruins after a completed urban planning. Those who still have a dream of a slightly simpler world, with a little more color. Each piece tells its own little story.

AX was born and raised in the Västerbottnian countryside but has lived in Umeå for many years. She has been painting for 42 years and the techniques have varied over the years, but always by little traditional kind.

AX is the ever-bold, thinking and odd bird that one day will paint the whole world.

And beyond that, it´s all about the birds, nature, bugs and other small or big animals.
