PUSHPAVATHY

Pushpavathy is a playback singer and musician based in
Trivandrum. Trained in Carnatic Vocal for 29 years, Pushpavathy holds
a Post Graduate Diploma (Ganapraveena) from Chembai Memorial
Govt. Music College, Palakkad and received her Advanced training
under Guru Mangadu K Nadesan (1994-2005). Her major achievements
include Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award (2002) and
Scholarship from Dept. of Culture- Govt. India (2001-2002). Pushpa’s
first directorial venture was a music album based on the poems of Kabir
(Kabir Music of Harmony 2005) which has won critical acclaim in many
platforms and was a best seller too. She has associated with major
Malayalam music directors and has sung many popular numbers for
