Bardos of Jujizu: Religion of Jiu Jitsu

Jiu Jitsu must be practiced as a religious activity to attain its fullest potential. That potential is creating a foundation for substantial mental, physical and emotional change. There are two books that present the philosophy and process that can be resources for this change:

Stilling and Moving meditation coupled with pugilistic submission combat sport training is founded upon the principles of Wu Taijiquan and Ashtanga Yoga. Yet it is all interpreted through the Bantu Culture. For us the Wanga or Flow State is how we connect with our ancestors. Bantu Culture is a Conflict Cooperation culture. The Warrior is in all our blood.

Philosophy presented in a formal way seems to be beyond Professor Daneher. Martial process is beyond the great Philosophical prose of Professor Matakas. Both are found in the books and messages on this page.
