The Duke & The Bishop
I. Videos about medieval Burgundy, concentrating on Charles the Bold (1433-1477) and the Rolin family.
My two main goals for this section are:
1) to research Charles the Bold, and more in particular his lost skeleton and all the myths and legends surrounding his life, and to reconstruct his complete itinerary in detail.
2) reconstruct the life of Jean Rolin, bishop of Autun in 1500.
II. Exploration of medieval castles and other medieval structures, often linked to 15th century Burgundian history.
III. Medieval art, in particular the Flemish Primitives.
I try to publish at least two videos a month, depending on how things are going.
