The Japan Foundation,Yangon
The Japan Foundation is Japan’s only institution dedicated to carrying out comprehensive international cultural exchange programs throughout the world. With the objective of deepening mutual understanding between the people of Japan and other countries/ regions, our various activities and information services create opportunities for people-to-people interactions.
Since its establishment in 1972, the Japan Foundation has introduced leading and established arts and culture of the times, continuously developed programs to enrich Japanese-language education all over the world, and created numerous opportunities to exchange wisdom between Japan and other countries.
The Japan Foundation, Yangon has opened in March 2019 as its newest, 25th overseas office. This new cultural center as the hub where people and information meet, will organize programs and projects that enrich relationship and friendship between Japan and Myanmar.
