日本の作曲家。映画・テレビドラマ・アニメ・CM・舞台・テーマパークなど、幅広いジャンルの音楽を手がける。
映画『64-ロクヨン-』『8年越しの花嫁』『護られなかった者たちへ』では日本アカデミー賞優秀音楽賞を受賞。
スタジオジブリ『思い出のマーニー』、Netflix映画『クレイジークルーズ』をはじめ、多くの話題作で劇伴を担当。
「いのちの歌」やLIBERA「彼方の光」など、アーティストへの楽曲提供も多数。
2024年には韓国ソウルの芸術の殿堂にてコンサートを開催し、国際的にも活動の幅を広げている。

Takatsugu Muramatsu is a Japanese composer known for his work across film, television, anime, commercials, stage, and themed attractions.
He has received the Japan Academy Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Music for 64: Part I, The 8-Year Engagement, and In the Wake.
His compositions include the soundtrack for Studio Ghibli’s When Marnie Was There and Netflix’s In Love and Deep Water.
He has also written memorable songs for artists such as Mariya Takeuchi (“Inochi no Uta”) and the UK boys’ choir LIBERA (“Far Away”).
In 2024, he held a concert at the Seoul Arts Center in Korea, expanding his international presence.
