Nicolas Suarez
Nicolás Suárez is a young drummer of jazz and modern music. Master of Music from the University of Pamplona.
He has participated in various ensembles, such as Apqua, Rame and Stereotipo. He currently works as a session musician and producer at his studio “Groove's Hall Records”.
He has also worked as a drummer in different commercial projects such as Indomables and Ciro Quiñónez.
He has participated in major festivals such as, Villa de Leiva International Festival (2019) and Cartagena Voices of Jazz Festival (2019). In both events, he participated with the Apqua ensemble, which reached the finals. In 2020, he participated in the “Pamplona is Jazz” Festival and the Bosphorus Cymbal Fest.
At the end of 2020, he released his EP "My First Step", composed of four compositions by great jazz icons and a composition by his ensemble, Apqua. This EP can be found on his YouTube channel.
