American Flat 6
My dad, Tom Knoblauch, started American Flat 6 in 2005 when he bought a lathe and a mill to modify his 1965 Corvair Monza convertible. Realizing he needed to pay off the charge card after these hefty purchases, he decided to make big valve Corvair heads.
Over time the business got bigger and bigger and the number of different services offered increased. Until today, where American Flat 6 rebuilds over 50 pairs of big valve Corvair heads a year while also building 5 to 6 stock and big bore engines.
Now I (William Knoblauch) have started working for him and started this channel to document and show you guys what we're doing. I don't exactly have a plan for what videos I'll be making but they will encompass the Corvair head rebuild process, aluminum casting, new custom hot rod design work, and more...
I hope you enjoy watching and if you want to see some older stuff you can go to AmericanFlat6.com or go to my dad's Facebook page Facebook.com/TomKnoblauch .
