bluegoatcrew
The name "bluegoatcrew" is our family's collective "trail-name" and stems from the kids' mother's Japanese name which sounds like it means "blue goat" but actually means "blue willow." When I first heard that name, I thought to myself, I had to meet that girl! One of our first projects together from the time we courted in Japan to our time raising our family in northern Georgia has been what we call the "World Class Learning Alliance" (i.e, worldclass.net) which serves basically as our archives, as well as our drawing board, for family and community-related educational projects related to art/ecology, farming/food, and language/culture..
