UNESCO GRÓ Fisheries Training Programme

The GRÓ Fisheries Training Programme under the auspices of UNESCO partners with developing countries to create applied postgraduate training and research for fisheries professionals in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and particularly, SDG 14 on Life Below Water.

GRÓ- FTP aims to strengthen capacities by providing excellence in training, education, and research opportunities, by facilitating the professional growth of fisheries professionals and by placing cooperation, capacity building, knowledge-sharing and research at the forefront of our mission.
