Gregorian Chant Academy
The Gregorian Chant Academy was founded by Christopher Jasper in January, 2021 to make in-depth, systematic study of Gregorian Chant accessible to everyone. The mission of the GCA is to bring souls to Christ thru the sacred beauty and prayer of chant, restore it as the primary music in the Roman liturgies, and help cantors and directors to truly understand the chant as a sacred musical language.
Christopher Jasper was raised in the traditional Roman liturgy from birth and has assiduously studied & sung chant for 25+ years & directed for 15+ years. He has studied with Dom Saulnier at the Abbey of Solesmes & the Centre d'Etudes Superieures de la Renaissance in Tours. He is a former postulant & current Oblate of the Benedictine Abbey of St Benedict in Norcia, Italy.
