Welcome to the channel. First things first: True Crime Psychology and Behaviour isn’t a channel that investigates or explains crime cases in detail.
Paul, a behavioural psychologist, and Helen, a psychotherapist, watch short video clips and talk through the psychology and behaviour visible in those clips in real time. The focus is always on the clip itself, not the wider case.
We don’t research the crimes, we don’t discuss motives or crime scenes, and we’re not true crime experts. If you prefer case analysis, this isn’t the channel for that.
And just to be clear, so you don’t feel the need to leave these kind of comments:
“Do more research.”
“You’ve no idea what you’re talking about.”
“You need to watch hours of footage.”
“You need to read all the transcripts.”
None of that is ever going to happen.
We’re not reacting to the crime. We’re reacting to the behaviour. That’s the only lens we bring.
