Bora Ayanoğlu was born in 1946 in Istanbul, his mother Şayeste Ayanoğlu is the first woman theater company founder in Turkey, also his father Sami Ayanoğlu is one of the most important figures in the history of Turkish cinema and theater as a actor and director. After graduating from Galatasaray High School, he started to work as an actor in Istanbul City Theaters in 1963. Bora Ayanoğlu, who started his composer career in the same year, is one of the most important figures of the Turkish Pop Music. Bora Ayanoğlu has nearly 200 songs and 60 soundtracks, also he has been involved 50 movies and theater show as a actor.
