Small S Scale 1/64 Rails

Hi, my name is Bernie. I have a UK model railway channel Smallrails6831. For some years now I have wanted to build a New Zealand Railways layout in S scale 1/64 on 16.5mm track. I recently bought two finescale, high detail , wagon kits from SouthDock Models. Watch me build these composite material kits and kit bash a diesel locomotive to pull and shunt some wagons. Follow my journey , with your help and comments help have fun and learn new things at the same time.
I live in Palmerston North in New Zealand. I want to model from 1980 to 2000. I want to build a compact shunting layout which can have a loop attached for exhibitions for continuous running.
