Most Southern African import and export commodities are handled by Transnet Port Terminals. The company operates 16 cargo terminal operations across seven South African ports.
We are responsible for commercial handling services of sea-route freight through South Africa's seven logistics ports: Richards Bay, Durban, Saldanha, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London and Port of Ngqura.
Transnet Port Terminal's major customers represent a broad spectrum of the economy and order to best serve our customers, operations cover operations across the following cargo sectors: Containers, Mineral Bulk and the Agricultural Bulk and Ro-Ro (roll on/roll off).
