Stu's Guitar Channel
This series is a record of my journey after a 40 year break from playing guitar semi-professionally in the ‘70s, changing career in the 80s and ending up director of a multi-media studio. In that role, I’ve been involved with music production and sound design, but in recent years as I took semi-retirement, I’ve enjoyed picking up the guitar once more to appreciate both the joy of playing and writing new material to record. But, if like me you’re also playing again after a long break, you too may be scratching your head at the bewildering amount of product out there. So as I’m in the business of film-making, I thought it would be useful to video my experience of catching up - and I also provide the backing tracks I use to demonstrate the guitars.
