Hijaz Hospital Pakistan

It was founded in 1979 by Haji Inam Elahi Asar and started merely as a dispensary with a goal to aid the poor of Pakistan in healthcare. Over the past 30 years, the hospital has progressed to a full-fledged, 170-bedded hospital. It has latest machinery and advanced facilities. Specialized services are provided in the fields of Ophthalmology, Surgery, Medicine, OB/GYN, ENT, Dentistry, Pediatrics, Orthopedics and Dialysis. Hijaz Hospital also features a 24-hour Emergency Room. Foreign-qualified and highly skilled specialists serves here. At present, fourteen specialists are regularly employed, and six honorary consultants of different specialties provide free medical facilities to the poor patients of the hospital. Besides specialists, a team of one hundred and thirty-eight medical and paramedical staff are on duty at the Hospital. Nintey percent of the patients that come to the hospital are at or below the poverty line. These patients are provided treatment free of charge.
