Claudio Babiloni
This YouTube channel mainly includes Claudio Babiloni's tutorials and talks on brain EEG rhythms underpinning the regulation of vigilance and cognitive functions in aging with a focus on Alzheimer's and Lewy body diseases. Core methods include advanced EEG and neuroimaging techniques.
Claudio Babiloni received a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences and is a Full Professor of Physiology at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology "V. Erspamer" of the Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). He has been Chair of the ISTAART Electrophysiology Professional Interest Area. He is also the Founder of the PDWAVES Consortium (www.pdwaves.eu) for exploiting EEG biomarkers in dementia and is the Senior Co-Chair of the Workgroup on "Advanced EEG Techniques in Clinical Neurophysiology" of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (www.ifcn.info/get-involved/special-interest-groups/advanced-eeg-meg-techniques-in-clinical-neurophysiology).
