Whether it's in the wild or in captivity, captive breeding for conservation, zookeeping, trapping, mugging, academia, ecotourism, pest control, furbearer management, consumptive use of wildlife as a management practice, on this interview channel I, John Beaumont, a Conservation Biologist and Veterinary Surgeon (not in clinical practice) chat with people who work with wild animals, to get their blueprint for a successful career. Biologists, authors, conservationists, zookeepers and consultants are among the people I speak with to give viewers insight into their skills, career path and animal work highlights. At the end of each interview, suggestions are presented for final-year project ideas.
