AT THE THRESHOLD Films
AT THE THRESHOLD is a global film series exploring contemporary, living theological traditions across the world.
Visually poetic and grounded in lived experience, the films do not ask you to convert or agree. They will, however, open you to a vast world of religious longing, vision, and witness.
Theology may be one of the most ambitious and misunderstood forms of inquiry—rooted in tradition, shaped by experience, continually evolving, yet often absent from public view. This series makes theology visible—as a living practice that is rigorous, contested, and vital—showing how theological questions emerge from, and return to, the lives of those who ask them.
AT THE THRESHOLD is a 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to produce media projects that explore the spiritual and theological traditions of the world.
The series is produced by award-winning international film studio UNTAMED and is made possible by grants from the Templeton Religion Trust.
