Barnabas Ministries of Central Florida
Barnabas Ministries of Central Florida is dedicated to encouraging and empowering individuals through relationships and community. Barnabas is a ministry to encourage spiritual growth and service. This ministry, led by Fr. Jim Spencer and Deacon Jonnette DeMarsico, serves to provide assistance to individuals in the manner of Christ. Through the listening of hearts and attention to situations, Barnabas connects the dots where needed in order for wholeness and new life in Christ to happen. The expression of that wholeness and new life is seen in service to others.
Current projects include construction of storage building for the Black Heritage Museum in New Smyrna Beach; presentation of HOLY MOMENTS guided meditation and lecture in Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach, and Louisville KY at the Daughters of the King Triennial; connecting furniture from owners to new owners in need; providing weekly sermons based on the Gospel of the day available on YouTube.
