Jailyn Duong

Jailyn Duong is a Vietnamese-Chinese artist from NYC, now based in LA, whose music blends pop, alt, and R&B,  — a reflection of growing up in New York City in the 2000s. A lifelong performer, she turned to songwriting in early adulthood, using music to process her thoughts on identity, depression, love, and growing up.

Raised in an immigrant household, Jailyn never saw a clear path into music — but an experience touring as a photographer reignited her dream of being on stage. Now, her work aims to connect with others who’ve felt unseen or in-between, especially fellow Asian kids navigating complex identities. Through her sound and story, she hopes to create a space where people feel understood, uplifted, and proud of who they are.
