To present original instrumental music created on an iPad using one basic music production app. Hopefully the music generates the live feel of a small band playing together! Styles of the music created include rock, jazz, country and r&b and often feature varying amounts of improv.By today’s standards the app I use (iSyn poly by German co. Virsyn) is old and basic but I really like the simplicity. I like the challenge of getting the most out of a little. ( 4 track sequencer, synth, drum samples basic effects ) All the sounds are created using the app’s subtractive synth. The app’s sampled drum kits are used for percussion. Pretty much everything is through recorded without patterns, using the app’s drum pads and flat screen keyboard to record the music. Thank you for your time and interest! PS.
