Florent Aillaud
Florent Aillaud has an active career as a concert guitarist, performing as a soloist and chamber musician, notably with Duo MFA. This ensemble highlights his passion for expanding the repertoire through transcription, arrangement, and commissioning contemporary works. His creative endeavors include composition, with several of his works for solo guitar and ensembles receiving awards in Italy and Germany, and publications by L’Empreinte Mélodique, d’Oz and Ut Orpheus.
Trained at Pôle Supérieur 93 under Judicaël Perroy and later at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Florent is a laureate and finalist in many international competitions, including the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America ICAC in New York.
Supported by Savarez Strings, he holds the Certificat d’Aptitude and teaches at the Conservatoire in Aix-en-Provence and the Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur de la Musique, guiding students from early studies to professional training.
