愛樂者，演奏風格內斂沉著、細膩流暢、富於思考性；曾以獨奏家身分與多個樂團、指揮家合作演出；習琴以來曾多次舉辦個人獨奏會：2012年《Urlicht》、2015年《墨音之間》、2018年《秋歌》、2021年《逍遙遊》。
近年致力於琵琶教學與演奏，成果豐碩；並與好友籌組「樂自慢」樂團推廣國樂，另參與電玩配樂錄製，期望以更多元表演形式為自己喜愛的琵琶音樂帶來更豐富樣貌。

Chiang Yu is a music lover. Her playing showcases her philosophical understanding combined with smooth techniques, making a distinguishingly composed and comprehensive style. As a soloist, she has performed concertos with many orchestras and conductors. Yu has also held several solo recitals, such as Urlicht (2012), Between Ink and Notes (2015), Songs of Autumn (2018), and Free and Easy Wandering (2021).
Promoting Chinese music is her other goal. She has formed an ensemble The Chime with a special configuration and explored genre-melding music and theatrical performances. Recent engagements include teaching and video game music-making. By experimenting with diverse forms, Yu hopes to enrich and introduce her favorite pipa music to a larger audience.
