One Cello
Here is the first complete set of 21 études for cello by Duport in the solo cello version without second cello, partly for pedagogical purposes (students can observe some of the bowing techniques and fingering options, as well as gain musical insight into those studies) but mostly for the enjoyment of cello lovers during the restrictions imposed on society by the Covid-19 pandemic. This treasure-drove of classical and pre-classical literature is presented in its most 'natural' environment: the practice room, with the occasional smidgen of humour.
