I'm a Wisconsin native plant gardener, habitat enthusiast, and casual nature photographer who's created more than 3,000 square feet of Wisconsin native garden habitat (including both prairie- and woodland-style habitats) in my yard to benefit wildlife of all kinds. I live within an important part of the Monarch butterfly's migration route, as well as within the endangered Rusty-patched bumble bee's range. My backyard native garden habitat also includes an 800 gallon garden pond that attracts frogs, dragonflies, and ducks. I use this channel to document the plants and wildlife in my yard and elsewhere. I hope my videos help showcase the positive impact native gardening and native restorations have, and hopefully can convince YOU to restore some native habitat in your own yard! Wildlife needs your help, seriously! We need to have large-scale habitat restorations across the country, but your backyard is the best place to start!
