I am a neurosurgeon who specializes in brain surgery (NOT spine surgery). I created this channel to share my patient's stories, to share my life as it relates to neurosurgery and the required work ethic, and of course to entertain my audience.
Dr. John Y.K. Lee, MD, MSCE is Professor of Neurosurgery and (hon. Otolaryngology) at the University of Pennsylvania. I have practiced at Penn since 2006. My surgical passion includes minimally invasive brain tumor surgery for the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm, acoustic neuroma (vestibular schwannoma) and meningioma. I am director of skull base surgery and director of the Gamma Knife radiosurgery program.
