How old is too old to begin homesteading? We started at 77 and I hope to share our story with you. I like to think of myself as a story teller. I have told literally thousands of stories in my lifetime and I hope to continue to share more to inspire and encourage others. I am a retired minister after 54 years as well as a former missionary to Kenya, East Africa. I have been an avid writer and have numerous books on Amazon as well as https://www.lulu.com/spotlight/russlawson. I have written for newspapers for a number of years. My most loved years have been working with small rural churches and of course being with my wife of 58 years. Though we have lived in several states as well as Kenya we recently retired and moved to East Tennessee way up in the mountains.
