I'm a 57-year-old outdoorsman from Alberta (Canada). I share over 40 years of lessons with my fans, some of which have been learned the hard way. I'm into long-distance wilderness backpacking, canoeing, kayaking and general outdoor pursuits. I post videos of many adventures, but what I'm really passionate about is backpacking alone. I tend to do less popular hikes because I like to get away from people and challenge myself. I also post the occasional gear reviews and "how-to" videos on outdoor skills. I'm a professional engineer by training.
