Retro Fix

Beginning with fixing my friends NES’s (2014) I then moved onto fixing more than NES’s at a video game store (2015). Much of what I learned during this time was gathered from YT and trial error.

By 2019 I spent 4 years fixing retro consoles and 1 1/2 years fixing new gen consoles. Although I did a little soldering from time to time, I mainly was a "parts swapper". Board repair at this point was out of my league but I looked to change that.
After a 2-ish year hiatus (end of 2019/ 2020/2021) doing heavy labor, I was getting the bug to come back and really step it up.

2022 - 2023 I came back to the game store to turn repair into a profitable business of its own. Re-invested into myself with quality tools and began HDMI port replacements. All the while increasing knowledge on many more consoles and especially controllers.
2025 I'm still rolling strong and quite possibly could own one of the game store locations, there are 3. Stay tuned!
