Lectures from the 37th Professor Harry Messel International Science School, July 2013 at the University of Sydney, Australia.
In July 2013, 150 of the world's best high school science students descended on Sydney, Australia for two weeks of amazing, inspiring science at the International Science School. ISS2013 had the theme of "Nanoscience" and many of the talks and activities during the program dealt with the very, very, VERY small: nano machines, quantum devices, nano medicine, photonics, graphene, genetics ... along with a few talks on the larger scales of the universe, from Nobel prizewinning astrophysicist Prof. Brian Schmidt.
So kick back, tune in — and absorb some nanoscience.
